This is my new means of public transpo in the morning.
- Fare is 50 Php, including a jeepney ride to where I'm supposed to ride the van.
- I'd be dropped off in front of our building.
- No more long walks for me.
- It can accomodate 16 passengers excluding the driver.
- Airconditioned.
- Fast and doesnt have to stop at every corner.
- The driver needs not to pick up passengers
STILL...
Nothing beats the experience of riding a PUJ, be it early in the morning or sometime in the evening.
- Fare is fair, three jeepney rides going to work costs 29 Php.
- I can feel the somewhat fresh morning breeze.
- Can accomodate up to 22 passengers who can't afford the almost 50 Php fare.
- It's fun to see people who are hurrying to catch the jeepney that is about to leave.
- You can mingle with people from all walks of life.
- It's not suffocating.
- You can see where you're going.
- There are distractions such as other PUVs, but what heck, distractions are fine as long as they don't hurt me.
- Sometimes annoying because drivers often stop at every corner, every possible passenger they can see, even those who are not hailing a ride.
- It's only in the PUV that you can practice your inner psychoanalyst characteristics.
- It's the only ride wherein you can be annoyed, excited, happy and whatever-emotion-that-is-possible in one seating.
- Lastly, a natural, electric-free hairblower/hairdryer!
